Quaife are proud to announce the arrival of a brand new sequential gearkit fitment for the new Honda Civic Type R FK2FK8 As soon as the new Civic Type R FK2 was released Quaife were keen to get hold of one for development of a sequential gearkit given the success and popularity of the QKE8J sequential gearkit for the EP3 and FN2 Civic variants. Developing a healthy 306bhp at 6500rpm and maximum torque of 300 lbft at 2500-4500rpm it could reach the 0-62mph sprint in a heady 47 seconds. The open differential can be reused or replaced with a plate-type LSD or Quaife ATB differential and is positioned in the same place in the car so that standard Honda fitment drive shafts can be installed.
Ideally suited to circuit racing drag racing and rally use its designed as a direct replacement for the standard six-speed H-pattern Honda transmission.
